This is the original mill room, used, we are told, up until the early 1950's for milling flour. The sluice still exists and can be operated from within the mill room, it can clearly be seen through a glass panel. Now, the Mill Room is completely self contained and has been used for rental as a gîte. The kitchen area, photo left, is at the front and now has a new double glazed window and door (the door is just left of the photo). The walls are all exposed stone and there are exposed beams and woodwork throughout. |

There are two pairs of original mill stones, now simply decorative, adjacent to the double bed. At the other end from the kitchen is a modern shower room with toilet and washbasin. Just to the left of the photo is space for a sofa or armchairs, and to the right space for TV, satelite receiver, stereo. |
